A: PWS has been trading since 1966 when it was first registered.

Q: What is the nature of the business?

A: PWS is a WHOLESALER and DISTRIBUTOR of all major brands of stationery and other office products. We also import certain brands/lines of stationery form many different countries.

Q: Does PWS have more than one branch?

A: PWS has fully operational branches in Pretoria, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and Windhoek (Namibia).

Q: Who owns PWS?

A: As from the 1st of June 2009, PWS became part of the BIDVEST group and operates under the BidPaper Plus sub division of this group.

Q: What is PWS™s BEE status?

A: PWS a division of BidPaper Plus (Pty) Ltd has an EMPOWERDEX ™ rating as a LEVEL FOUR CONTRIBUTOR. Necessary documentation/verification can be obtained from your nearest PWS branch. 

Q: Who does PWS sell to?

A: PWS sells to the reseller. We try to ensure that any entity that buys from us can prove that they are a stationer or a  reseller of stationery in some form.

Q: Is PWS competitively priced in the market?

A: PWS sells all the major brands of stationery at the market norm. Discounts are considered on large volumes and being an importer of certain brands, PWS is very competitive on these lines and/or brands.

Q: Does PWS have a catalogue?

A: Yes. PWS publishes a new and updated catalogue every 2 “ 3 years. This catalogue can also be customised/branded to our customers™ specifications and is a great tool to give to their customers. PWS also prints a Back to School catalogue that focuses on this season and related products. 

Q: Does PWS deliver and at what cost?

A: Yes. PWS offers a 24 hour turnaround time on deliveries to most areas and all major centres. Delivery is free if minimum (very reasonable) order values are met.
